Chartered Fintech Associate (CFtA)

The Chartered Fintech Associate (CFtA) is an entry-level certification exam designed to equip individuals with foundational knowledge and practical skills in financial technology. Developed by the Global Fintech Institute (GFI), the CFtA serves as the first step for those pursuing a career in fintech, offering insights into critical areas such as Digital Payments and Transactions, Web3 and Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Sustainable Finance, and Regulatory and Compliance.

The CFtA provides a formal qualification for candidates entering the fintech space, including those without prior industry experience. It also serves as a pathway to the Chartered Fintech Professional (CFtP) certification, with CFtA holders exempt from the foundation level and degree requirement for CFtP. Through the CFtA, candidates develop market-relevant skills and gain a comprehensive understanding of fintech trends, preparing them for career advancement in the financial services industry.
