Chartered Fintech Professional (CFtP)

The Chartered FinTech Professional (CFtP) qualification is developed by Global FinTech Institute (GFI) in collaboration with its academic partners the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) and the Shanghai Institute of International Finance Center (SIIFC). GFI is guided and supervised by its Academic Council, Professional Council & International Council.

The CFtP qualification aims to promote the FinTech sector and raise the level of professionalism within the industry and provide a pathway for professionals from other industries who aspire to embark on a career in FinTech.

  • CFtP Levels 1 and 2 are proctored exams conducted via Prometric, available remotely or at test centers.
  • CFtP Level 1 consists entirely of multiple-choice questions. Level 2 includes multiple-choice questions and three short essay questions.

Requirements

  • Possess at least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, awarded by a recognised university.
  • Holder of relevant professional qualification, e.g. CAIA, CFA, etc.
  • Third & Final year students currently pursuing undergraduate studies in a recognised university (at the point of sitting for Level 1 exams).
  • CFtA holders will be eligible, regardless of degree requirements.
  • Must be above 21 years of age.
